Sonru Video Interview Application

Sonru provide a video interviewing system for recruiters which allows them to quickly and easily screen candidates by conducting automated interviews using a webcam.
Originally designed in 2008, the Sonru Application needed a redesign to improve the usability and visual design of the UI, and to provide a more flexible framework for further development and scaling.
Birdie worked full time with Sonru to produce a roadmap of planned features and improvements, including documentation and wireframes, based on user interviews we conducted with clients and surveys of candidates completing the interviews.
We produced a completely new visual design for the app, including improved information architecture and numerous usability improvements, along with a new UI for the core candidate recording application. The result is a more usable and attractive application, with streamlined workflows to help recruiters send and process interviews quickly, and an improved candidate experience that guides them through the unfamiliar video interview process.
